Bill Schroeder, 5-year veteran of professional long drive golf, serves as a
member of Tour Swing Golf Long Drive Team.
In this capacity, he attends charity, celebrity and corporate golf events
where he provides a Long Drive/Trick Shot exhibition and also includes
several other fund raising opportunities. Events attended include: Brett
Favre, Reggie White, Doug Pederson, Josh Bidwell, NFL Alumni and
Hall of Fame, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots and Detroit
Lions Invitationals.
Prior to his affliction with golf, Mr. Schroeder was a wide receiver and
kick/punt returner in the NFL from 1994-2004. He played with the
Green Bay Packers (7 years), New England Patriots (1 year), Detroit
Lions (2 years), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1 year).
During those years and still to this day, Mr. Schroeder has participated in hundreds of Long Drive and golf events all over the world. He has also participated in the Remax World Long Drive Competition since 2006 and has qualified to the World Finals in Mesquite, Nevada 2 years. Bill has a swing and ball speed of over 145 mph and 206 mph respectively. His longest drive is 457 yards and recorded a best of 412 yards in competition.
Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Mr. Schroeder attended the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. Currently he resides in Green Bay with his wife and two children. He continues to conduct Long Drive/Trick Shot exhibitions, charity events, motivational speaking, sports training and athletic camps throughout the country.
